What is shotcrete, and what are the two methods of shotcreting?
Shotcrete is quite literally concrete that is ‘shot’ out of a hose. The two main ways of applying Shotcrete are either a dry-mix or a wet-mix process. ‘Gunite’ refers to the dry-mix version, and spray concrete is also used to refer to the wet-mix Shotcrete version.
